4129R:

I hope your eyes have recovered that effort. I remembered that there was a link with all of the Lotus paint codes and a picture of the car with that color. I'll have to try to find it. Found it, it's on LEC

I have two Europas with fairly rare colors.

3923R is L18 - Glacier blue
3634R was L17, now yellow with green center stripe. I wonder if the PO kept the green the same color as the original L17 as a keep sake.

BDA:
If you counted my car as having L17 - Renault Mid Green, you might want to change it. It started that color but now it's '95 Corvette White (whatever the real name is).  :)

It's interesting that there is no BRG!

Joji, I don't think your center stripe is L17 which is a metallic color. Yours is much prettier!

4129R:
The colours listed were the original Lotus colours listed as it came from the factory, as many have been re-sprayed in lots of different non-standard colours.

Having said that, many were listed wrong, as my Tawny car is listed black on the Vin plate, and my yellow car is listed as Tawny.

It seems the famous "in-breeding" in Norfolk has instigated colour blindness or reading capabilities.

Grumblebuns:
Whether true or not, I've also read in the past that some cars left the factory unpainted with the dealer doing the paint to customer specs?
