My racing buddy was at Laguna Seca this weekend running his 914 and spotted this S-2 in the paddock. He says it is a very nice build and very fast. From what I can see it looks like a hermes kit on the intake.

That's one very tidy racing machine. I like it.

I'm like a sixteen year girl when I see things like this...........eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!
Europas look so neat in orange. You can get away with bright colors on small cars......it just works. Sure would like to see this at Coronado this year.

:coolpic: I like the engine compartment and the cage very much.
Do you have any more pictures of this car?
Does anyone know, why this S2 has no blinkers at front? Are they allowed to remove them?

I'll check with my buddy and see if he took any additional photos. I can't imagine the removal of the warts would be an issue. Generally, if the modification was done when the car was originally raced, then it is allowed in vintage racing.

Thank you, Joe.
Does anyone know how much horsepower they are able to produce with this cylindre head? I heard about 145 HP would be the limit. Is that right?

I would be surprised if it more than that. I'll do a bit of research and see if owner of the car can be contacted.
