A pretty  nice pretty original ‘69 S2 is up on BaT (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-lotus-europa-7/). It needs a new dash at least but in general it seems pretty nice.

That car has been advertised locally for a while now. The asking was something like $25k CAD, so I would assume the reserve will be set at something close to that.

This car was sold for $17,250. I expected (maybe hoped) that it would bring closer to $20,000 or even a little more but then I claim no ability to price a car so it might have actually been a good price.

The car was repainted but poorly prepped.  Lots of star and spider cracks.  Would need a strip and paint to it bring up and we know how much that costs.  Kudos to the seller for showing all that.

I missed the cracks but I should have remembered that the dash was at the end of its life. $17,250 looks a lot better…

The cracks are not too bad -- mine's way worse -- but it makes it a very good driver, not a minter.  And, not cheap to make a minter.  You can change the dash and refinish the chassis and suspension for not too much money, if you do the labour yourself.  But, completely strip and paint?  That's a HUGE job and very expensive if done commercially.  $17KUS/$21KCAN seems about right.  Maybe a bit on the well-bought side if you like original-looking, drivers.
