4 people bidding so far, so it should achieve the correct value.

IMHO £6,000 tops.

The seller also has an Esprit for sale too, though that is in rather better condition,. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284011578005

Am I missing something  here but I don't see the attraction of this car, particularly with a disassembled engine that's not been stored well. The car is likely to be incomplete, and will need a complete restoration, and when finished its likely to cost more than its worth. Maybe it's the re painted chassis that is the lure. If it was half the price then yes but my reckoning is its too much. Especially now with the widely predicted recession coming soon there will be a lot of people needing to sell of their cars for more urgent needs.

I always think a disassembled car is a bigger risk as you just don't know what is missing, and may no longer be found, e.g. gearbox, heater blower, heater matrix.

We shall she what happens with interest.

Sold for £5,900 (the Europa, not the Esprit!)

I was only £100 out with my "£6,000 tops".

A new bidder came in at the end.

Good luck to him with the restoration.
