Title: heater blower motor

I have a two-position dash switch for a two speed heater blower motor, but my Smiths blower appears to be a single speed unit.  This agrees with the wiring diagram, so I suspect this is original from the factory.

Both my 69 S4 and 71 Land Rover have two speed blowers.  What's with the TC?

Good old Colin's cost-cutting, maybe the single speed motor was tuppence cheaper than the two speed motor ?
