« on: Friday,August 27, 2021, 05:12:01 AM »
i can get a jps special rhd it’s missing engine transmission rear suspension and no glass the frame is really rusted bad the body is good door front suspension steering rack radiator all there no interior the owner restored his europa and offered me that one
im not sure what to do to restore it i would be missing a lot of parts use it as parts car don’t even know it it’s the same bolt pattern for wheels body rear is different i got wings it doesn’t
options just forget about it  buy or build new frame and restore or part it out
ps it doesn’t have the hashtray !
i already have my s2 running great don’t know if i would have the energy to start a big project like that

No engine, tranny, rear suspension, or frame is one thing, but no ashtray. Forget it!  ;D

Seriously, there isn’t much left of her. You didn’t mention the number badge, but without that, you can’t call her a JPS. You would also need a 365 tranny which I think are pretty hard to find. From your description, it doesn’t sound practical at all but sometimes we happily do the impractical for fun. But you aren’t sure if you have the energy to start a new project which to me means that you probably don’t. Given that, my advice is to walk away and help him find a buyer who does because it’s going to be a pretty big project!

It would take so much to turn this into a complete car that I think it's probably best to see it as a collection of potentially salvageable parts.  I see a windscreen in there.  That might be worth good money.  I can see what looks like an original steering wheel.  Is that salvageable, or is it bent?  If the body isn't badly damaged then somebody will want it - eventually.

it doesn’t have the hashtray !

Probably essential and preferable to an ashtray if you were to take this one on!

If it is cheap buy it and put it aside until you find another with body damage but otherwise mostly complete.
There is a damaged ex-racecar for sale on this very forum.........

Without the ashtray or number plate I'm thinking parts car or race car.

Seems a more reasonable candidate for a siloutte build than a complete car would be.

I am still looking for a front bumper!
Thought I had bought one, Pay-Pal was not working smoothly, and the seller refunded my money without explanation.
Is that an intact original front windscreen?
Someone was looking for doors not too long ago.
I recall a request for seat frames too.
Yes, lots of desireable parts there.

the windscreen is cracked the seats don’t look that bad but would have to lift the upholstery to see the condition
