Brake light switch thread pitch TCS

Anyone know? Might have a defective switch now installed but in hard to get at location, so want to get a back up if I need to replace. Thanks

The brake light switch is 3/8-24. Be sure to use a copper, aluminum, or other sealing washer.

The Europa uses 3/8”NF as pointed out above but the switches also come in 1/8NPTF which doesn’t fit but I have seen forced home.
