Do 821 and 807 Renault blocks use the same sleeves?
I know I have seen the answer to this somewhere, probably here.
Not finding it tonight.

The 821 and 807 are basically the same block - both with 82.5mm base locating diameter for the sleeves and the same crank stroke and liner sealing arrangement (paper rings).
I expect the sleeves are the same.

They are basically the same sleeves.  At manufacture, sleeves are matched to pistons and sold as a set.  If you are mixing and matching, check your piston clearances carefully!

The early 697 (1470 engines came with a 82mm base.
