Source for TC seat covers
« on: Saturday,November 28, 2015, 07:26:38 AM »
I need to get my TC seats recovered.  I have looked at the covers for sale on eBay offered by Buckingham Classic but wondered if there are any other options out there?  Thanks, John

Steve Veris on the Yahoo Europa mail list is making up replacement seat covers and foam padding for the S2 seats. He plans on making TC seats if there is enough of a demand. Contact Steve directly.

I realize I could call Richard to ask questions.... but has anyone seen a Banks seat upholstery set for a TCS? I am wondering how close to stock the material is. Also, anyone know what the different sets include or which set I would need (other than black)?

Jack is that a 3 cushion seat or a 2 cushion per the description on the Banks site?

I also got a set of seat covers from Banks, but have not yet done the seats, so I canĀ“t show a picture of the finished job.
They are very close to the original seat covers and the material is in good quality.
But I have this Picture Richard sent me before i ordered the covers, of a seat he had done.

When the original covers began to split at the seams I decided to make my own. It turned out to be not as difficult as I expected and I'm very pleased with the result. I used a velour like cloth that is much more comfortable than the original vinyl.

Very nice!

I wimped out and took mine to an interior shop. They did a great job using a cloth that looks similar to the cloth you used in the center only I chose a biscuit type color. I really like cloth because it holds you in a lot better and it is much cooler.

A neat job, I quite like the contrasting central section - good choice.
