Title: Pulley
Post by: cal44 on Sunday,August 26, 2012, 03:57:09 PM
Hey fellers,

Which supplier sells the alumninum pulley that attaches to the cam on a TC?  Now the question is, do I want the one with the many holes or the solid one.  I'm in the U.S.

My stock pulley has a wobble.   That is not good.  Plus, who needs the weight of steel when aluminum is available.

Mike

r.d. enterprises sells the aluminum alternator pulley you're talking about (http://www.rdent.com/ search on Europa | Europa Parts). As for which one you should get, you need to make that decision...

The one with the holes is a bit lighter, and that lightess is greater an the perimeter. Is that worth ~$145 to you?

Honestly I wish they offered it with 1"-1.5" smaller diameter. Anything to reduce rotating mass should be quite beneficial.
