As you say, better than they would have come from the factory. An amazing car.  Makes me realise mine's just an old banger..... :-\

Is that a galvanized frame or paint?

Hard to tell, some parts do look to have the sort of patterns you get with hot dip galvanising.  I know Lotus galvanised some replacement Elan chassis (with variable results apparently) so they could have done the same to Europa frames at the time.

You can also "cold-galvanize".  Not as effective and doesn't get into cavities but it doesn't distort the chassis like hot-dip does.

It says at the bottom of the TC page that it has been restored and is original spec, likely to have been done using a galv chassis - it looks to be galv.
Built a few using galv chassis, they needed checking on the chassis jig first though.

All very nicely done.
