Gearbox hoist

  I thought since I’m getting older any idea to make my life simpler, but not paying someone else came up with this tool.
  I made a Jack mount to carry my Jack , so instead of manhandling the gearbox in away from my block and tackle hoist I came up with this . It will do the heavy lifting and I will do the tilting.
 Plan A was for a HF battery powered winch but I thought that would be overkill. The remote feature was cool though. Lol

  That won’t happen until I drive the car. I can show how it’s mounted and hooked up to gearbox with a strap.

   I had some time today to weld it up and fit. I have two options to do the lifting. see pictured.
   I'll probably use a brace to stop the fore and aft sway, so the gearbox can be tilted without putting a twisting on the cross brace. granted this is only to install from bottom. The top drop in without cross brace is the easiest but I hate that crossbrace remove and install.
