Trying something a little different, shallow, smoked indicators It was important to find shallow amber LED bulls as well.

If it reduces the signal's intensity, then give it a miss.

You're right, of course John. Gmg31 should check the intensity of the the lights, but LEDs are likely bright enough for the smoked lenses. For example, LEDs used in brake lights should be red otherwise your brake lights will be pink.
