Hey Rob Siegel!
« on: Saturday,January 22, 2022, 12:51:55 PM »
Rob (hopefully you are this site),
I received "The Lotus Chronicles" for Christmas this year (I asked for it last year...),
It has been an interesting read so far! Like you, I have a brown Europa. Seeing your picture
in the book sparked a memory. When I picked up my Twin Cam Special from Bridgewater, NJ
on the 24th of October 2020, I could have sworn I saw you checking out my new highly patina'd
Europa...  I even told my son, "That looks like Rob Siegel, The Hack Mechanic", do you recall seeing
such a Europa being towed on a U-Haul trailer behind a U-Haul pickup truck a little over a year ago?

Hope to hear from you!

He is a member on here, but I have not seen him post in quite a while.

He's on the groups.io LotusEuropa group. He started the message thread "Square o-rings not tight, and depth of 11mm seal in finned transaxle side nut" on 6th January.
