  No, but I’ll definitely get one next time.  Bill, the owner did get into my Europa, he grinned ear to ear and mentioned the spectrum difference. He can’t wait to drive mine also.
  Re- wiring  my instrument lights has been challenging , but I should be done tomorrow, now with everything working.

Confirmed, TESLA is laying off 700 employees.
That long wait, is going to get longer!

The CyTruck flippers on BAT are rapidly losing their margin of profit.
There is a recall already, and Tesla has to give you permission to resell so quickly too.
In a year current MSRP may not be possible, I expect a price reduction.

And nothing can fix the Ugly.
Yes it's true, I am not a fan.

I’m not a fan of the Cyber Truck, especially how it looks, either but the one on auction at BaT is bid above the list price ($110K bid; $102K list with five days left): https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2024-tesla-cybertruck-awd-7/.

So far, not much of a payday but for a 300 mile truck, it’s not nothing. Don’t ask me to explain it.

  Did I mention you can kick this hard with no damage ,shoot at windows without damage, Small caliber  of course .
  Still, I have my respect for the craftsmanship . 

  As for price point, as with everything nowadays is more expensive , hopefully prices will come down .  The “,Beast” is the most expensive and crazy fast .  I hit 70 in 3 sec on his , fast enough for me . Steering lock to lock in a one way street, easy , no k turn required.

I nearly bought one.
If I had been able to get a test drive I might have.
Despite several on the lot a test drive was impossible, even just sitting in one was also impossible. Every car in sight was already sold.
My delivery would have been six months out.
No way I was going put down a deposit and make six months of payments without so much as seeing if I fit!
That was on the same day the BMC/Lotus dealer refused to even talk to me.
At least the Fiat dealer was friendly.
So the CT fever is nothing new, just bigger numbers.
In the end they will also lose value quickly, the folk paying substantially over retail will look silly, and life returns to normal.
I think we could have a nice one of every model Europa for less than one CT.  8)

I remember back during the '79 manufactured Carter Fuel Crisis, VW Diesels were going for 5K over list that summer (and back then, a new Rabbit L Diesel listed for 6100 and change).  I waited till December for mine and got it for list minus trade in.  Great little buggies (if a bit lacking in the acceleration department...but they did average 45+ mpg on the highway in 5th gear.

Still have a VW diesel, and have continuously since '80.

  After removing my LED instrument lights for just being to dainty and a mismatch in intensity in my gauges I went back to the OEM bayonet sockets .  Then afterwards fighting ground connections, I’m still not happy with the mismatch in two new gauges, the amp meter which matches and the oil  pressure which is different than the rest by having illumination around the entire gauge.
  I guess I’ll have to live with it but while the facia is out I thought I could swap different bulbs but to no avail.  I thought about reclocking the temp and fuel so that the socket sat on top of the gauge where the  illumination bleds  from behind legend.

Hmmm . . I wonder if the brightness differences couldn't be altered by painting part of the interior of the gauge either black or silver depending on which direction you want to go.

That way, they could all be a bit too dark which is closer to standard.  ;D

  Your probably correct Gavin, dimming down the full illuminating ring would be the best solution than having it glaring at you or having a yellow glow. I”lol look into it today and see if I can break into it. It’s a mechanical oil pressure btw.
  I didn’t want another delay but there is no sense putting everything back in and having regrets later. 🥱🥱👍👍

  This is the best I can do. Two new gauges and two old, I could try to clock the fuel and temp gauge so that it is as bright as the other two newer gauges.  It seems I can live with this until the other two crap out.
  I’m putting it back together tomorrow but with 4 separate grounds and forget about a daisy chain.

  I had a whole day to reassemble the interior. Facia with gauges working and lower brackets set to accept the console. Harness tucked under the right side and A/C louvers not getting locked up.
 Now to just mount the working fuse holders and ground bar on a closing panel under dash.

  Yes it feels good BDA .
  I think the gearshift problem is also fixed but will road test tomorrow. I also need to watch the speedometer this next time. It’s amazing how many things you’re looking at when driving.
 My garage looks lovely me a bomb hit it with my daughters E-bike parts laying around. New batteries on the way but when temps up to 98 f today with humidity at over 100% painting it looks bleak.

Wrapping up the wiring harnesses new home under dash. A few more hours of uninterrupted unscrambling of the four main levels. Then adding a closeout to cover the left side under das area.
 Then the fun begins, I added two cars to my Hagerty policy.  Then my wife was happy when she found out a car carrier is considered a shelter, so she will get a spot back in the garage. The funny part was the Hyundai just fixed a recall that they suggested the car be parked outside.
