Thought you might like to see my new exhaust…..dropped the noise…. To my ear quite a bit. Still have to get a meter on it to see by how much….
Still have to find a new place for the air filter and try and find cooler air

Very nice! I am just getting to this part... What engine management do you have?
-
Hi Chuck
She's on Megasquirt 1 version 3.0. Throttle bodies as you see
Runs brilliantly but slightly on the rich side at moment. Need to work on that but have a cable comms problem. Produced 160 at the wheels two or three years ago. Plenty for me and my skillset
I have the ecu in a bulkhead recess behind my (rhd) drivers seat
Don't get the impression that I am a superskilled keyboard whizz with this...it was with the car when I bought it. It wouldn't take much for me to try webbers with the 5 progression holes and retain the ecu just for the timing etc
Happy to post photos of anything my system has if it is of help

You can't post too many pictures here!
160 hp at the rear wheels is very good! It sounds like a really nice car to drive!
-
Nice work getting all that in tight quarters.
I love the stainless.

Thank you. A local company not far from Bath Uk did it....wish i could stick metal together like that

160 to the wheels is very nice indeed. I was looking at MS3, but I just went the opposite direction because I found a deal on an ST170.
How does it compare to the standard Europa? That thing must feel like little rocket.
-
She feels like a rocket ship to me... now she's quieter they may let me on track days so hopefully I can explore her a little bit more
I have never driven a standard S2. I rebuilt one over thirty years ago and fitted her with a TX engine 1647cc from the off with single webber dcoe .....she's faster than that
I would say I need to upgrade the brakes now....i'll start with different compounds and go from there. I'm not an engineer i'm just a fitter and I would use Richard Winter's systems
The ST170 sounds good.....what is your target in terms if power?
-
I've found it not the rotors that are the limiting factor but the pads. I tried Hawk Blue pads on a lister's recommendation and have been delighted.
That said, Richard's kits are great.

Thank you very much…I'll try those

I am thinking somewhere in the 150 to 160 whp range without the cat on the factory ECU. That seems to be common in the ford crowd. What kind of fuel pump do you run on your car?

So this is the current version of what I seem to have
-
Ecu position and access hatch for the belts and alternator
-
Wow! That engine almost fits!
;-)

:FUNNY:
Tight isn't!

Peekaboo!

😄 probably needs a smidge more sound deadening aswell
