It's for my 1970 S2 Europa.
Please let me know if you have a spare.
Thank you,

Hey Bob
Is it black with a clear center with Wiper Icon underneath.  I think I have what you are looking for.  I can get you a picture too.

Hi Jason,

Do you have the wiper wheel box assembly (No. 6 in pic)?  I need just one for my S1A or take the entire wiper assembly with motor for a two-wiper set up (S2 or TC).

If Jason doesn't have one, I believe r.d. enterprises has them and after that, I'd try Moss Motors.

That knob is going to be tough. One of the things that's keeping me from hooking up a choke cable is that I don't have the proper knob (but that's only one, there are other things that are in the way) and they have been unavailable for many years. You can't tell the style but Moss lists one here for the TR4/TR250 (http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=29172#top). If you do a search for 'washer knob' they have knobs for other Triumphs, MGs, etc.
Other places to look would be (this is kind of a kitchen sink list in no particular order):

http://www.sjsportscars.co.uk/index.php?mod=9
http://www.davebean.com/
http://www.vintagemotorspares.com/

Sports Car World (http://www.sportscarworld-lotus.com/) in the past has been known to have very difficult parts to find but IIRC, I had reason to contact them a few months ago and wasn't successful even though I heard they are still in business.

Two sort of out of the box ideas: 1) find a generic sort of switch with a knob or button that doesn't clash with the ones you already have and retrofit to that. One of the previous suppliers might be helpful. 2) White Post Restorations (http://whitepost.com/) might be able to make a replacement. If they can, I doubt it would be cheap, but then I've never looked into this sort of thing so it might not be that bad... If you get this far, and you're still looking, it would be worth a phone call!

Good luck!

Triumph TR4 should work. Moss Motors has them.

Looks like this?

Came off a British Ford.  Turn up on eBay moderately frequently.

That would be the correct one. What model Ford and years?

UK Ford Cortina Mk1 for certain, that would be 62-66.  Similar to the Elan switch and from my old notes on that I have a reference to the complete switch as Delco 68414, but I can't remember where I got that from.

Other possible Ford models would be the Anglia 105E, Cortina Mk2 and maybe the Escort Mk1 for the plastic knob itself. All about that period 62-68 and so likely candidates for Colin's Parts Bin raids !

Very interesting! I wonder if the TC knobs were also used on any other cars and thus replacements could be found.

Thanks for the information.
I did some searching and found the same knob had sold on the UK ebay site, listed under Anglia and Cortina.
I'll just have to watch over there frequently.
