We saw the "bear crossing next 12 miles" signs on hwy 19. We'll be about one mile off hwy 19...
We've had one bear cross our property here - one that's been spotted anyhows.

My son took these photos last month at Flamingo near Florida Bay. He was about 50 ft. away. This croc has to be around 14 ft.  There are quite an impressive sight in person. But then again, I am native Miamian.

He looks well fed. Lots of nutritional value eating those snow birds.
