In our profiles to the right of our posts is a "Karma" rating. I noticed that I and several others have a negative karma rating and am wondering, what is forum karma? Have I committed a forum misdeed that will subject me to future forum suffering?

Hi Mark,
I'm guessing the Karma feature is a way to rate a member. I've never used it myself. The default setting in the forum is "on". I'm not sure it really relates to anything on this forum. Maybe it is more for social type forums. I'm sure if you have a -1 Karma it must have been someone who inadvertently hit it by mistake. But hey, look on the bright side, I've been here since day one and have never got any Karma at least you've been noticed.

It is now gone

Now that I don't see it, it must be a "karma chameleon". I'll ask Boy George........he'll know

Of course it is Mike - you're a generation too young in your listening..... ;)
Culture Club ? Karma Cham-what ? just modern noise and they dare to call that music ? I have proper music - the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Hendrix and Led Zep on my MP3 player, amongst many others that have probably been forgotten for a generation or more....

So......no Wham?
I grew up listening to big band as pops was a big band fan. But if truth be told if I had to pick, it is Bobby Darrin, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy, Tony Bennett and others.
When on your computer if you go to 88.3 F.M in San Diego it is a pure jazz channel.
Listening to jazz players puts a whole new twist on music listening.
