In the UK, we have the RSPCA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

I think we need a World Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Europas.

I think it is very sad that people let cars get like that. 6 of my 7 have been "basket cases".

It's always amazed me how many basket cases have so few miles!  I think for whatever reason (and it certainly couldn't be purchase price!) a lot of owners didn't value their car. I admit that the build quality was lacking and maybe living with that for a while changes your perspective of them. I'd have to say that in general, after I've lived with a car for a while, it becomes "just a car." The two exceptions are my old Probe GT and my Europa. The Probe was my favorite car I've ever owned. The Europa is not a car! It's a hobby, a labor of love, a part of the family, a project, and more,
