Interesting window frame mod on the S1 doors...

Updated doors from an S1a? Not sure what they mean by removable chassis. Maybe it did not get glasssed back in.

Looks like S2 doors with S1 interior and exterior latches (early type 54). Definitely power window glass in both doors.
Spyder frame would be difficult to fully bond to fiberglass, therefore removable claim seems reasonable.
S1 belly pan in rear has been removed.

Some people adapt S1s to S2 style chassis mounting.

And, again, the S1 chassis is NOT really bonded to the S1 body.  The S1 body is actually made of two sections, lower and upper, bonded together.  The chassis is laid in place and then the two sections are bonded around it.  Then the chassis is also riveted to the two chassis sections in multiple places.  The very ends of the rear “Y” sections bolt to the inner fenders, and, the lower section of the rear loop is bonded to the floor of the engine compartment  — the only part of the chassis actually bonded.

No the S1A did not have the aluminum window frames with glass windows. Those are S2 or TCS window frames and glass cut to fit in an S1 door. You can see the window rolled down in the frame sticking in the door in one of the interior shots.
