My real goal for many items is to 3-D print patterns for casting or maybe short tun stamping in aluminum.
I have been offered a contract to print some items that will require a much more serious machine.
But this toy Ender 3 v2 should suffice to learn the basics.

I tried my best searching for any weaknesses, especially on the chassis. I haven't found the front section to be rotten or any other highly concerning faults apart from the obvious and hope I am right with this. My conclusion was it is to good for a full restoration and so it will be a running restoration.

Lotus Supplies sells the Banks stuff now.  There are a number of aftermarket rear axle options out there already.

It is rather fun. Been to Classic Le Mans twice. I was at Combe briefly yesterday afternoon. one S2, two TCS and a Banks 47 were there among some other lovely cars. Had a chat with a very much owner of the S2. Maybe be there with mine next year. Running, not done.
