EuropaTC sent me this link to the Lotus West Tech Manual. Lotus West was a Lotus club in California that has since disbanded, and they collected a lot of information and tips for owners (from what I gather, mostly Europa and Elan centric) that wasn't readily available at the time. I've looked at it only briefly so I can't say if how much, if any, is out of date, but I suspect there should be some interesting information there.

Click on the picture of the manual and you'll get a Forward and links to the table of contents and index.

Lots of Lotus West stuff here as well:

Thanks guys. BDA, I bookmarked the site, though I haven't time to peruse the manual just now. Looks like an interesting resource.

Reading the Lotus West article in 54MC066_1973LotusClinicAnnual_Europa.pdf, they have a note that might interest some of you.
"Factory approved air conditioner for the Europa Twin-Cam. It uses a rotary compressor which drives off the water pump pully, not the camshaft.
Coolaire MFG Corp.
10400 S.W. 187th Street
Miami, Florida"
Probably way out of date, but someone might find it interesting.

That was the “official” A/C for Europas. I think they were dealer installed.
-
I have an original brochure from them.

Is this the same company? If so, the dropped an 'e'.

No idea but I wouldn’t be surprised if Coolaire Mfg. Corp. was a niche producer and no longer exists.

@ Kendo: Different Company. Coolaire went out of business in 1975. There is a guy in Sebring, Fl that bought his unused parts and sells them on eBay. These docs might shed some light on the TCS A/C option. Evidently spelling Porsche was whole other issue.

I can confirm it was a dealer installed option...
When I purchased 3307r it had the same cool-aire system installed. I removed the entire system and sold it as a used kit.
