Hello Everyone,
Me and my father just bought our first Europa. It's a Twin Cam Special (Federal). Chassi number 3392R. We're from the province of Quebec in Canada.
We'll be coming here regularly for advises and I'll try to share our progress through the adventure we're just starting.
This car has been used on the track by the previous owner and we'll be doing some track days ourselves as well.
Here is a picture of the car:

Looks nice. Welcome to your Europa journey. :pirate:

Bienvenu to the Europa world. Lots of help here. We love pictures. Resizing them to thumbnail size allows more pictures per post. There are 2 other Europas in your area. 1 in the Mt. Tremblant area and another in the Pointe-Claire suburb of Montreal. I will be in Cornwall, Ontario between Christmas and New Years. PM me if you would like a visit from another owner.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
Since you like pictures, I'll post some other here below. But also I need to tell that we have note taken possession of the car yet. It will sleep in its heated garage where the previous owner lives for he winter. We'll get our hands on the car somewhere during the month of May.
Also, I'll probably start another thread at the right place to go through our preparation process and I'll post pictures there instead.
This car has the twin stromberg head (as being a U.S. model) and the previous owner put an NG3 gearbox. It has been mechanically restored but esthetically it has been neglected.
Also, I don't know if some of you have ever seen this but the previous owner installed a fuel cell at the front of the car....
He also installed a quite big radiator at the front, instead of the original set-up.
All of that being said, I'll now let you enjoy the pictures :)

:Welcome: Congratulations on your Christmas present,it looks like it has some interesting mods.I have to wonder though how the heater works with the fuel cell in the airflow path.
-
Great pictures. As a race prepped car I think the fuel cell location in the safest place. No need for extra heat in the cab of a racing car. A lot of race ready Europas have larger than stock radiators to keep engine temps within safe limits. Usually the heat is vented out a modified front hood.
-
I built a cell with a hole thru the middle, moved the fan to the center of the front.
-
Nice work - especially with those welds! :welder: :beerchug:

:welder: Nice fab work!

Wow, that is a very nicely done fuel cell :)

That looks like a great car you found. Welcome to the forum. I’m a Canadian west coaster. We seem to have a lot of Europas in Canada.
