It's sad that cars end up in that shape! At $2000, it is probably decent but the shape of the frame and the tranny are unknown and EVERYTHING has to be rebuilt and there will be a LOT of parts to buy. I hope he sells it. It's sad that this is precipitated by his uncle's passing.

Good that it is so far away or I would probably be trying to buy it.
My car was presented as nearly a runner but I've had to take it down the frame, then rebuild the frame too.
I am having to go through nearly everything so really not much less work than this one, but I paid a lot more for the privilege.
