OBD Scanners Where are we at now?

<< < (2/2)

Clifton:
I have a nice hand held scanner and I also have Techstream for Toyota. 99% of the time I use Torque Pro. It's a $5 app that uses your phone and a bluetooth OBD2 adapter.  If you need ABS, door control, etc you want more than Torque pro. If it's just engine, it's the easiest.

Newer OBD2 is different than older, pre 06' ish. Torque works on newer too.

You set the screen to what you want for real time and what to log. I plug my phone to the laptop to pull the logged torque data and it will display the logged data in Excel. Super easy if I log a long drive. It shows and clears codes too. The real time display and logging is why I use it. The Bluetooth plug is always plugged in my car.

Looks like I’m in Clifton 😁
I found a Bluetooth adapter and it was linked to torque pro. 19$ for adapter and one time fee to torque 19$

My wife set me up with Excel how to's. If you log say a 10 minute drive, how to hold the top row at the top. If you need a hand, PM me.
