Europa and Emira
« on: Wednesday,May 08, 2024, 07:02:44 PM »
Hey Everyone!

I was able to sort out my engine (finally)! All new pistons, bearings, studs, removable water pump, gaskets, manifold ect. New wiring harness has been added as well. She’s better than ever!

Hey Kid! That's a really cool comparison between old and new!

What caused you to replace all those engine parts?! How many miles had you put on it when you did it!

I'm glad she's back in tip top form!

We heard a very small knock in the engine for years, then the water pump went out. So we decided to replace everything. The engine is better than ever!

I’m glad it wasn’t something serious like worn bearings!

Great photos, until I saw them side by side I'd not realised just how much bigger the Emira is compared to our cars, the Europa looks "dinky" in those comparisons.  I do like the styling of the Evora and Emira even though I don't find myself wanting one even though in the UK the prices of new or very low mileage (200-300 ?) cars are dropping and the waiting list premiums have completely vanished.

Well done on the engine work, Chris. The Europa is looking great.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
