Is anyone on this website rich?
« on: Thursday,August 17, 2023, 12:25:47 PM »
I'm thinking the answer is no, or else we wouldn't be monkeying with 50 year old project cars; but I'm  53 years old, and besides a rare car collection and a couple paid-off houses, I'm broke. Does anyone that is rich care to share how I can make something with a low initial investment?

OR

Philosophy? Rich or Blessed?  Family or Money? Happiness is rich, I believe rich is when you know, nobody can take it away. God may have other plans ...  Philosophy of course.

My next door neighbor's name is Rich and his wife's name is Hope. Does that count?  ;D

The OP is clearly one of the Rich and does not realize it.
TWO paid off houses AND a rare car collection!

Did not see the location but I will share the one business opportunity that is guaranteed all the business it can handle without committing serial felonies.
Might have to hock a house to get started though.
Auto Machine shops are disappearing, and the remainder literally have more work than they can handle.
In the Reno area pre-Virus we had a dozen or more machine shops.
Include surrounding towns and it was close to twenty.
We now have four or five total, and a simple engine bore requires a six month wait.
The catch here is equipment cost and finding expertice to run it.
You may have to lure someone out of retirement and they will have to train the help.
So your launch may be a bit slow compared to shuffling numbers or You-Tube.
But if you can get it going and do excellent work you too will soon be backed up with jobs in waiting.

Oh, and I am Ri¢h too.

How do define "rich"?

To me being rich means not having to worry about money, i.e. you earn more than you spend.

But you cannot buy happiness and you cannot buy health, just ask Steve Jobs.

When I sell most of my collection, I will be rich, until I spend it. I have plans !

The smart money has moved to Lotus Eclats... The last one I bought came with a pallet of trim bezels, old magazines, and a free hat. You don't just find these kinds of deals....
