Can't help with the question but my original sender (TCS) is out and readily accessible if you need dimensions or a any photo's.

Thanks, but I have 2 rusted ones as patterns.

I have ordered the Herald one on eBay. I will report if it is the same length and fitting.

They must have got it from some normal car. They did with nearly all the other parts.

Can anyone confirm that a Smiths TBS 1514-003 fuel tank sender unit for a Triumph Herald/Vitesse will fit a TC tank? It also has the reference 215846, and is available from Rimmer Bros.

Is it the right length? An MGB AHU 1027 is the right sender, but the arm is too short, and rather than attach a longer arm from the original, I thought the TBS 1514-003 looked the same as the original.

Thought about making up my own system, but have too many other projects. From your pictures, a very nice looking system. Do you have the contact info for the seller?

Will check back through my copious emails, Joji...know it's around somewhere...;)  between the 2 FB europa lists, groups.io, and here...sometimes knowing where you interacted is a bit frightening, LOL

I remember back during the '79 manufactured Carter Fuel Crisis,

Or do you mean the Fuel Crisis caused by the 1979 Iranian Revolution that took back their country from the US puppet government placed in 1953 for BP oil?

The ridiculous thing is that it is as valuable as an S1/S2 Europa.

61 MM PU "Parts chaser".
Got it for a very good price, mostly restored but not a runner.
Somewhat silly of me as I could have had the Europa nearly finished for the cost.
But actual out of pocket is low since I sold the project MM PU I already had for almost as much.
Besides, every time I say "I only need $XXX to finish the Europa" cost escalate again.
This is to be my DD once I resolve a couple of issues.
Rebuilt engine has only 60psi compression, clearly some error.

Wrapping up the wiring harnesses new home under dash. A few more hours of uninterrupted unscrambling of the four main levels. Then adding a closeout to cover the left side under das area.
Then the fun begins, I added two cars to my Hagerty policy.  Then my wife was happy when she found out a car carrier is considered a shelter, so she will get a spot back in the garage. The funny part was the Hyundai just fixed a recall that they suggested the car be parked outside.
