This just popped up on CL: https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/d/el-cajon-1974-lotus-europa-special/7733566526.html for $29,900.

It's the same car we discussed a few weeks ago https://www.lotuseuropa.org/LotusForum/index.php?topic=6390.0
that ended up selling on eBay for, presumably $20,000.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/186305659831

Only difference I can see is 11 more miles, five new Minilites, more dirt on the console, and, for some reason looks like more front ride height?

I did the same cable relocation with my TCS many years ago but I've forgotten the reason. At the time I was chasing down an intermittent starter issue where the starter solenoid would click without turning the starter motor over. I remember the positive cable being in fairly bad shape with a lot of corrosion on the lug and in the strands. In replacing the cable I decided to run the cable similar to what the red TC owner had done. I don't recall if it was due to just being lazy or to keep the cable away from the header. Anyway, the new cable did not solve the starting issue if I recall correctly. I found a picture showing the battery cable (at the time, black was the only color I could find) after pulling my engine.

I really never paid attention to the differences in the turn signals , and all those legends where my Hi beams and low oil pressure are.
