Body and frame in Montoursville, Pa
« on: Wednesday,July 22, 2020, 05:37:32 PM »
Asking $1000,  it's hard to tell what shape the body and the frame are in.  Somebody made a replacement front section for the frame, to their own design, but didn't finish the job.

interesting gas cap access location!
the weight in total of that front "T" section of the frame certainly weighs a lot more than the original sheet metal boxed "T".
body looks nice....looked like it was a pretty decent car, before it got hacked up.... :(

I took a second look at the photo of the frame.  Zooming in I could see that it has rusted away at the front and at the hip of the Y section.

Far too many unknowns, unless you are local enough to view it.

The shell looks like a spaceship flying up there, great.

It has evolved.

One has to wonder if he thinks it's so important that his but-ugly (IMHO) pickup truck had to be bulletproof!

It's supposed to go into production soon. Tesla is opening a new plant to build it in Texas. I don't know of any time tables though.

Here's a video with Jay Leno and Elon Musk with the Cybertruck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25ZuKkbHdqM

Here's a video of the unveiling. The bulletproof part didn't pan out so well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7atGkba-Z8
