Is there a good way to substitute worn door hinges for the new after market type

I used Banks hinges. Once adjusted, you can remove a door without upsetting the set position.

Bud, it depends on what is worn in your hinge system. If the adjustable bits in the door are worn, the hinge pin or bushings, then either the stainless or Banks brass hinges would be a fairly easy fix. If the bobbins in the body are worn or loose, that is a much bigger repair. I went with the Banks hinges. They are very easy to use once set up.
