Actually a one owner Twin Cam Special found me! The car should be in my garage in April :trophy:
Pics/details/story to come when I bring her home! And I just noticed this is my 100th post!

Congratulations, Sir !!
I'm sure the previous owner will enjoy following your project.
A Europa is less complicated than an SR-71. :welder:

Great News Turbo.
Looking forward to seeing the pics.

It is L16 (brown) with real patina.....4 speed - not a problem for me as the closest Interstate in any direction is about 2 hours
-
And now the fun begins.... :)
-
I believe that this will not occur in April due to the current state of things, hopefully May or June
Everyone be safe!!

I now have a date to pick up my Europa :beerchug: October 10th!
Covid has really delayed this!
Plans are to pull body off and go through frame/suspension/drive train.
Put body back on and fix interior.
Last is paint etc.....I would rather run out of funds and have it driveable with patina than a pretty Europa shell taking up space while I save for the rest!
Details and story etc coming in October😎
-
That sounds like a good plan. I can't wait to see her!

Hey .., you can always make car noises and sit in it . :FUNNY: Just kidding, it sounds like a great plan.

At least you have had chance to prepare your workspace!
I saw/test drove mine on a Saturday and it was delivered on the following Wednesday. I spent most of the time in between clearing enough space in the garage to get the car in. I still haven't cleared enough space to actually work on the car inside though!

I got my Europa home today! What a chore to get it on the trailer with four flat tires!
It took a hundred posts for it to find me and a hundred posts to get it home (thanks covid).
Can I get it driveable in another hundred posts ......?
Details in a new topic to follow soon😉

Can’t wait, Turbo!
