If this is a 1969 car, it would be is a S2

From the picture it looks like an S1, under the doors has no lip, moulded seat backs on the bulkhead, push button doors, no indicator warts. Maybe it was slow to be sold/registered?

Should be an S1 which I ike a lot. Could you please post its chassis number that would clarify which kind of S1 you are offering.

I have no association with this Europa, but I did come across an ad for it on Kijiji. There are a few more pictures.

I can confirm that the 1969 Europa shown above is indeed a 1967 built S1, VIN 460161. My brother bought the car and it has been shipped to Germany in the mean time. It was a pleasure to deal with the Canadian seller who acted like a gentleman. Although all negotiations where done via phone and having not seen the car in person everything went extremely well.

The S1 is in need of a full restoration. A long time previous owner started to restore the car but did not manage to finish it. Nearly all of the hard to find S1 parts are present except for the Zagato tail lights (which alreday have been sourced in Italy). Even a pair of lockable Oddie fasteners turned up in the collection of bits that came with the car.

At £6800 (US$) or £5600 (CAD) - that's still quite a steal isn't it ??

If you add costs for transport and customs the price is ok but surely no steal. The Europa was publicly available for quite a while so obviously the demand was not too high. The thing is if you are looking for one of the very first Europas it is very difficult to find one. So we are very happy that this car has found its way to us.
