South Florida British Car Show
« on: Saturday,March 23, 2019, 02:12:35 PM »
Wheels Across the Pond puts on one of the largest British Car Shows Every year. The date is April 20th.   Usually gets a decent Lotus turn out.  Would love to see as many Europas as possible this year. Three Europas are already pre-registered, including two forum members. So if any of you are a couple hour drive from North Palm Beach County (Jupiter), would love for you to bring your cars out or just come to see the show and meet.  There were 350 British Classic cars last year.

I went to this show in 2015. There was a large turn out of interesting British machinery (I never knew BSA made a car) and a couple of non-Brit cars as well. A good number of Lotus, but unfortunately no Europas the year I was there. Great show, nonetheless.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

I hope you guys have a big time!

I might think this belongs in the "events" section, though.

Dakazman:

Looking forward to meeting you in person!  Paul Freen from this Forum will also be there. :beerchug:

BDA:

Is there anyway for me to move this post to "Events"?

No... I was just saying that for future events and to alert Joe that it might be a good idea to move it. He's the only one who can do that. I meant no criticism of anybody, I just wanted to let people know that there is already a place to tell us about events.

I wish I could go. It sounds like fun!

Once briefly  ..., it pulled into my high school parking lot as the late bell rang ....and shutoff . That was all it took to hook me . That was in 1973.

Chuck, now that you're finished your house, when do you start working on your baby?

Oh man, Lotus Europa’s are magnets to men who desire low profile mid engine sports cars. It’s like the beautiful girl in high school you watched from a distance and later in life dated or married her.

You need to come to a LOG Dave. More Europa’s than you will ever see in one place. I have flown to a couple of them and arrived without a Lotus. It’s still a very fun weekend!
