Fixed the coolant hoses and leaky swirl pot last Saturday. Got it done just in time for a spin around the lake.

Is that a crack in the fiberglass above your front wheel? I have the same problem. Out of interest, are you missing what I think they call the closing plate? My car is missing the part and I'm going to fabricate a new one.

The car hit a deer, before I bought it 10 years ago... I will eventually get to it. Some day. Maybe.  :FUNNY: :FUNNY:
The car has the plate in place, you can buy these. I might have seen it at Banks?!

Nice! Glad you got your Europa running on the street! RD has closing plates in stock.

Very nice! The wheels make for a cool, old school look.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

I hit a deer with my Ford truck and 5th wheel, amazing damage. Can't imagine hitting a deer in the Europa!

I'll either be fabricating a closing plate or buying one before my Europa is on the road in the spring.

The deer did not that much damage. probably because the low nose of the Europa only hit the legs. I hit a cat with my Elise, and it did as much damage.

I hit a chipmunk last fall, poor soul. At least it didn't end up in my radiator.

We could probably clear the underside of a moose, though a bull moose might break the windshield.   ::)
