MC export USA to AU?
« on: Saturday,February 19, 2022, 10:45:37 AM »
I have an opportunity to pick up a like new 1998 TRIUMPH THUNDERBIRD SPORT at a good price.
This is the Cafe-Racer type, less than 13K miles.
No longer ride on the street myself so this is to "Flip" for some Europa funding.
Noticed they sell for about double down under!
I know shipping is not cheap and no doubt the Gov. Org. demands their cut as well.
Still wonder if it might be worth the effort to advertise it in AU or NZ?
Hoping some of our AU or NZ members might have advice.

My brother in law has the exact bike for sale for $700, a yellow one. Personally it sounds like more of a headache than anything to sell it in another country. If it was me, I'd re-list it for sale locally and try to jack up the price enough to generate some profit. Spring riding season is coming very soon, bike values will go up then also...
