Coach building name of Radford has been resurrected and they have announced that they are building a car in collaboration with Lotus that pays homage to the Type 62.

I don’t hoe I missed this. Very interesting! Especially with Jenson Button apparently involved at some level. I hope we can get more details, pictures, and videos!

I hope they really can keep it that light. I don't think 500hp is possible on the compression on these 2GR's with a warranty though. If Lotus would order them from Toyota with lower compression or use direct injection, they could make 600+hp and people would give Lotus the same respect they do for Mclaren, Ferrari, etc.

I think it looks good. Maybe what the 62 would look like if they continued to update it. It sure has gotten away from it's Europa beginnings, though.
