1970S2 Update
« on: Friday,September 23, 2022, 10:58:19 AM »
I was fortunate enough to stop in on 1970 S2 "AKA Angelo" on my way to Cornwall, Ontario. He has asked me to share his rebuild adventure. He has installed his Gordini inspired engine in the chassis. Thinking it is around 135hp. Sounds awesome. The picture does not do the incredible machining justice. The other pictures show his Europa renovation distraction.

I will be heading in that direction for Canadian Thanksgiving. I will ask if I can drop in if there is more progress.

I stopped in on Angelo (1970S2) over the Canadian thanksgiving weekend. He is finished with the engine/chassis restoration. He will start on the body work over the winter. The blue parts Europa Has to much damage to restore. It is destined to become an art installation.

Fixing the yellow. Using the blue for the art work.

That’s shaping up to be one fine Europa.  :trophy:
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
