Sill / rocker trim
« on: Wednesday,February 09, 2022, 09:55:01 AM »
What is the width of the chrome trim that runs along the top of the fiberglass piece along the rocker/sill on a TCS? Looks to be about 1/2" or 13 mm wide?  Thanks for any info.

Ha! I happen to still have the originals from my car! They are a shade over 1/2".

Just made these out of 18 gauge stainless steel. Etched the lettering with ferric chloride and covered with a 6mm thick anti-chip vinyl. Not sure how it will hold up. Hoping the steel will give the sills a bit more rigidity on exit/entrance. Will double tape them down after paint.

Looks very nice, hope it holds up for you although I think it should.
