Welcome to the forum. I am just up the road from you in Norfolk, and I am restoring 6, so if you need any practical advice, I am not far away.

Alex in Norfolk, (near Fakenham).

Thanks Alex,
I've restored a twink in the past, thick end of 30 years ago, this one will have to wait it's turn as I've also a +2 to do  ::)

  :Welcome:

I guess you don't have enough to keep you busy with your +2!

What are your plans for them?

Nice collection! I'm particularly envious of your Elan S4!! There was a time when I could jump into my Europa, but that was more than a couple of decades ago - of course once I'm in, it's all good! Besides all the other nice things about Elans, they are easier to get into!

Welcome to the forum. That is a fine little collection you have going there. I really wouldn't mind parking a +2 in my garage myself. Looking forward to seeing more of the Europa once you get going on it. Cheers  :beerchug:

Hi and  :Welcome:  from another UK owner.

I've always said there's no such thing as having too many toys in the box,  glad to see someone else with the same mindset  ;)

Brian

(also with an Elan S3 & Elise S1....  good choices ! )

None that I know of. If you want something UK orientated then we're struggling, even the Elan forum is USA based and the Elan is a fairly established UK classic.

There are the usual club forums - Club Lotus and the Lotus Drivers Club have them for example, but every one I've seen has been across the whole range. And although there's sections for individual models I don't think there's enough UK-only interest to keep one going.  I would say that the lack of response is because everyone's driving their cars, but the reality is we're more likely to be fixing them in cold garages  ;)

Personally I think this is the best forum of it's type that I've seen in a long while and the amount of info available through this and other (mostly US) sites is pretty fantastic.  Maybe everyone is scattered around the globe and perhaps that's why it works so well.
