 :Welcome:

I'm assuming you took some other photos between the first ones and the last one! Or that you have two!

The car looks absolutely gorgeous.

 :Welcome: Chuck!!
I wish we could have seen more of the process but from what you did with the frame and the way it looks now, I'm betting you did a great job! I'd love to see more pictures (I'm sure I'm not the only one!)! Can you tell us about your baby - how you happened on her, did you do any mods, etc...

Congratulations!!

I'm still trying to recover the photos I took throughout the process. Hindsight says I should've stored them in more than one place.
I made an effort to make sure any changes I made could be taken off and the car returned to stock. The car was pretty rough when I bought it
with the frame rusty and the engine corroded into a single hunk of aluminum. I've still got that engine and it's striped down to the block, head and
crankshaft. I may rebuild it later.
For now I have an Renault 843 with high compression Venolia pistons, H-Beam rods and a custom grind Crane Cam. The heads have 40mm Intake valves and some
mild porting. I've got 40DCOEs for induction and I welded up a set of headers for it.
The rear brakes have been swapped out with Miata calipers and Integra rotors.
I've still got to finish wiring and do something about the ignition, cooling and finish the interior, but it's slowly getting there.

 :Welcome:

Chuck,

Welcome,  Beautiful work we hope you find more pics of the journey you were on. I am also building an 843 so thanks for your info. Did you build it up ? I noticed no water pump or cam pulley or cam in your pic . Did you stay with the 4 speed?

Hello Chuck!

 :Welcome:

fantastic to see another S1!

I'd love to see any further photographs of the removal and repairs of the chassis/frame (I hope that you can find them!)

Cheers,
