s2 doors painted, but question on color inside door

Folks,  car was repainted complete,  putting door back together now, the area back of window(when up)(inside)  is it painted black (like the color of my interior), or is
it the same as the outside color, I want to make it the same as factory,  car is now factory yellow,    thanks

Outer door is body colour.  Inner door is black.

Just to clarify, do you mean the parts of the door you see only when the door is open, or the part of the door behind the door card that hopefully nobody will see?

I collect period photos and road tests as these cars were painted and repainted over and over again.  Figuring out what's original and correct isn't easy otherwise.

As both cars are painted white, the contrast between the black of door interior and the white exterior paint is easy to see.

The part of the door behind the door card is pretty rough on my car but it is painted the car color. The edge of the door that is not visible from the outside is satin black - i.e. the area behind the lip around the door but not the edge of the lip itself, and the broad areas where the latch is, underneath the door, the area of the hinge, etc. is satin black. The door jams are all body color.

You can get a bit of an idea from the attached picture.

I think satin black is correct for the bits you see with the door open, though mine are now gloss. I might have redone those areas twice but not since 1989. IIRC, my doors are unpainted but grimy behind the door cards.
