In the course of hunting for an NG3 gearbox, and I still think I've got one on the way, I bought a UN1-013 box because it was at a good price.
I think it's originally R21 Turbo
My bell housing doesn't fit this box, so I'm not sure whether to try and use it or not.
Has anyone used a UN1 on a Europa, or looked at it? I think I can easily get my money back if I don't use it.

Used in Espirits, Deloreans, many GT40 replicas, etc. Better ratios than the NG series (3.4 first gear). Here are sites with some info:

What engine are you wanting to bolt it up to?

It's going with a Zetec 2.0 if I can find the bits to fit it.

I'm pretty sure that is the same gearbox in the Citroen SM.

I have a un1-013 in my banks62, it is a lot bigger than the ng3 (heavier too) overkill for the zetec,
It may get some extra horses in the future :-)
What bell housing, flywheel, clutch and starter are you using?

Thanks for the info, but please can you clarify what ca18det is code for?
EDIT:
Cancel that, found it!

Is that the engine you're running then?

Yep... paid less than that for it. I expect I've missed an opportunity to make more out of it, but I'm not really worried. I've covered my purchase cost and travel expenses.
