Title: Shift Linkage to Transmission
Post by: jjbunn on Monday,January 13, 2014, 11:02:49 AM
The shift linkage at the rear on my S2 looks incomplete, but I'm having a hard time finding a diagram at lotus-central that shows the type I have: it doesn't correspond with the Early or Late diagrams.

Here's a shot of the relevant part:

The connection on the left hand side looks like it is missing a rubber grommet or something?

Here's another view:

Can anyone advise?

Thanks!
Julian

I'll try to help...since I have a Twin cam I can suggest you visit Ray's website...R&D Enterprises.
There are parts manuals listed with great schematics for both versions of the S2's shift linkage...ld

Thanks, Lou. I did look there as well. The S2 Late diagram (shown below) shows a different set of parts to those I have on my car.
