Right side fuel tank?
« on: Sunday,September 25, 2022, 01:36:24 PM »
Looking to increase range for my Fed. S2.
Simple answer is to add the second fuel tank.
Now that I have the body off the chassis it seems I would need to cut the body to match the left, correct?
I have given some consideration to a custom fabricated tank but still not sure I would be able to get it in and out with the body in place.

Yep, the tanks are mirror images except the second one doesn't have a fuel sender.
That means the left one is as easy to get out as the right one . . if you follow my drift.  ;)

News says the pound has fallen to near equity with the dollar!
But I bet if I decided to place an order the pound would leap upward.

Mate, I'd get an order in.
If things get much worse, they won't have enough fuel to ship it!
