It could have been worse. Is the ticket written to the car's registered owner, regardless of who is driving? Is it illegal to own a speeding car?

I'm so happy we don't have camera cops around here! (Our speed limit is as high as 80 mph / ~130 kph)

Yep, registered owner pays and then hires thugs to beat the money out of the guilty party.  No points or demerits though, which is why I'm not sedated.

Filled up today and old Lead-Foot got 45 mpg (imperial) whilst violating the laws of man and nature!  There's more to come as it's still a bit rich in the top end.
