I'm also mounting Banks twin master cylinder adjustable pedal assembly in my early S2. Great unit. However I have no reference point as to front to rear position. I'm close but does anyone have a measurement from the very bottom of the clutch pedal forward to the fiberglass bulkhead. Once I make the alum. Mounting bracket I won't be able to adjust things Thanks. Tom

Does the pedal assembly bolt through the floor?

BRAKE pedal. Sorry not clutch pedal. The assembly houses the accelerator and brake pedal. The clutch pedal mounts the traditional way with the floor mount. Thanks. Sorry for the misprint. Tom

The only way I know to correctly align the brake pedal is to make it in the same plane as the accelerator pedal and the clutch pedal, or your feet will get confused.
My brake pedal adjusts with a threaded bar to the master cylinder which has to be adjusted until the pedal is level with the other two.

The Banks assembly hangs the pedals down from the top. I've positioned it in relation to the old assembly for side to side but front to back is my problem. My car is gutted with just the old pedals attached to floor but not sure how far the brake pedal should be from the bulkhead. The banks system is all set up and I've cut the fiberglass hole in the top panel. If I press the brake pedal down it will move the whole assembly ( working alone ). From the Banks photo I know the master cylinders are very close to the panel that the heater core is bolted to. Just not sure how close. Tom

Might be worth a call to Richard...
