Title: 1974 TCS Pistons and related parts
Post by: Bud on Wednesday,December 08, 2021, 07:47:37 AM
Does anyone know where I can source internal engine parts out of the US rather than buying from England. I have just bought a 74 TCS and will have to redo the engine when I get it home. Obviously I am new to Europas although I have dreamed of having one for over 50 years. My dream will finally come true soon enough
Thanx to all for your assistance

r. d. enterprises (rdent.com) or Dave Bean Engineering (209) 754-5804 should be able to set you up. DBE would be more likely to have what you need if you’re looking for go-fast parts but you probably want to check both in any case. I gave you DBE’s phone number because their website is useless. They do have excellent catalogs with great information in them which are well worth the time and money.

Here are some good sources of parts (http://www.lotuseuropa.org/LotusForum/index.php?topic=1389.0).

Bud,

Another avenue to investigate here in the states is to contact those engine builders who are familiar with the Twin Cam...

Quicksilver, Steve Jennings racing, Ted Wenz @ Mwe engineering, Jay Ivey and Arnie Loying. I have found Pegasus racing supplies also very helpful.

Burton power and QED are the usual manufacturing sources...in the UK

Call David Clubine at Britain West Racing - just down the road in Brantford.
