A few more images of my new Europa. I'm driving her presently but will be doing a restoration next year. What a fun car to drive!

What is there to restore?  Keep it a driver and enjoy it!

I gotta agree with JB ,
Unless the frame is rotten I would be selective in restoring parts at a time.
Driving any car pinpoints a lot of problems.

She looks good to me, too! I work on mine a lot and have wondered if I like working on it more than driving it. The answer is simple - driving it!

 :coolpic: Fine looking Europa!
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

My favorite view of the Europa is sitting inside it with the road moving ahead.  It is like sitting inside a Time Machine and taking a distant vacation from 2018. Enjoy!!

Wesley,
I can relate. I'm driving the Europa every day and always come back with a smile. We are lucky folks and most of the world doesn't realize what they're missing.

Nice looking car from a fanatic on the other side of the ferry.  Did you find the car locally in BC?

Thanks Guys,

The web site is a fun project. I'm working on many restoration articles at present. The site is modeled after my MGB GT web site at MGB1967.com

Amazingly I found the car on Vancouver Island. I was looking along the west coast and even had a car inspected in Los Angeles. This particular Europa appears to have been in Oregon in her early life. I've managed to piece together a good chunk of history, will write it up soon.

There are now 3 Europa S2's on the island as this car https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-lotus-europa/ was just brought to Victoria.

There are quite a few kicking around on the island I almost bought a baby blue one on the island but the wife said no...  I guess 2 is enough.

That’s a nice website, congratulations! I went to see that Europa in Bremerton when it was for sale. It was a real nice example. There was another next to it but it was very heavily modified. For a start it had a targa top.

Good luck.

Hi everyone,
My first post: I bought that Bremerton, Wash. S2 you are referring to. Rather that highjack this thread, I'll start a new one describing my first two months of Europa ownership.
Cheers, John
